Massive offshore wind monopiles are being scrapped at N.J. wind port, mayor says

Crews have recently been at work in Paulsboro taking apart the enormous offshore wind monopiles, according to the mayor, structures that once served as a symbol for the future of the clean energy alternative in New Jersey.
The state hopes newer offshore wind infrastructure finds a home at the facility in the coming year or so.
